Yarns for tire applications

There are various processes for constructing a tire in the tire manufacturing industry, including the use of a cord fabric or single-end yarn technology. MEP-OLBO supplies the yarns required for this purpose.

The ongoing technological development of tire manufacture has the following background: in the case of high-speed tires, a steel belt alone does not provide the necessary stability. Therefore, an additional textile layer is installed that counteracts the centrifugal forces. The yarns that we supply absorb the forces and ensure an optimum connection with the rubber.
